A Modern Victorian
What happens when your client gets her hands on an old Victorian and wants it to read modern and airy like the homes in her native Australia? Let the walls come down… and keep them falling!
Adding an open floor plan, Nano doors for inside/outside living, and under-counter windows in the kitchen—the Victorians have officially left the building!
And even though we painted most of the walls white, we were able to have fun with color, pattern, and texture—cue the pink graffiti-painted powder room, the blue and white mosaic floor tile in the boys’ bath, and the lambswool throws and orange woven ottomans for a start.
