Third Time’s The Charm
Favorite family. Third project together. Here we go!
Built in 1912 and later renovated by renowned architect Julia Morgan, our challenge was paying homage to the past while celebrating the young family living there now.
A secret garden for your senses, where over-scaled grass canvases, botanical fabrics, and a palm tree floor lamp play hide and seek with your senses.
These clients share our love of wallpaper—so paper we did. Even in the Butler staircase, we installed a very kitschy popcorn wallpaper paired with a matte black staircase—the perfect spot for hidden kisses. In the Galley Kitchen, we kept it serene, allowing the stunning quadriptych by late artist Mimi Chen to have center stage. Handmade tiles, artisanal lighting, and vintage curiosities take us back in time when the Martini was stiff and the music never died.
